Even though Romania’s national team did not qualify to the European football (soccer) cup 2012, the competition is being closely followed by Romanians. After all, football is the king of sports here. Today’s photo show a people watching a game on a big screen placed in front of the Manuc’s Inn in Bucharest’s Old Center.
Judging by the last few days I think I can say for sure that the “rainy season” is over and that summer has come to Bucharest. Which is why I’ve chosen to post today’s photo, which shows a few bucharestians sunbathing in Tineretului Park. More than that, the heat has driven some to try swimming in the lake even though is not allowed and the water is far from being clean.
