The outdoor ice skating rinks have become a traditional fixture of Bucharest’s winter. And judging by the crowds in today’s picture they are indeed very popular. Everyone seemed to be having fun on the ice last evening in Cişmigiu.

a pity we have only indoor rinks to skate around here… but, the feeling once you're on ice…sensational!

Great ice rink photo, Andreea, but next time get yourself out there on the rink in YOUR ice skates …. just don't drop your camera on the ice!
A similar tradition has started in Saarbrücken in the last few years, but our rink is smaller and in a tent.
